It’s Web Comics Awareness Day 2002! |
It’s also National Cartoonists Day! Yeah, I never heard of it either (which is odd, considering what a comic strip aficionado I am). Anyway, today is the day that participating web comics try to make people more aware of web comics by, uh, doing web comics on the subject... Okay, as Brainfries pointed out a year ago, it’s kind of unlikely that this effort will inform anyone who doesn’t already know (excepting the unlikely event that the media takes notice and does a story on it), but hopefully it’ll give readers some hints on how to show their appreciation. I also hope that it may convince those who only read a few web comics to expand their horizons. Click on the link below
